Yakimix…For me, Yakeemix.

Japanese food is one of my favorite cuisines and it was kind of exciting to be able to finally try Yakimix (a Japanese buffet restaurant) with my friends after wanting to try it for a long time.

Despite the traffic, I got a glimpse of the nightly fireworks display of MOA (Mall of Asia).

Okay, given I have colds…maybe that’s why I didn’t enjoy myself as much as I would have wanted. Still, given that this was a Japanese buffet it leaves a huge room for error in terms of stale and tough sushi rice, poor quality desserts, and an uninviting environment. And for the price P700+ dinner, it doesn’t seem that worth it for me.

The silver lining was the I was with great and fun friends and who knows, I might try Yakimix again just to make sure…But next time, I’d go for lunch ‘cause it’s cheaper and a buffet at night isn’t that ideal.
